Katy Williams
Rafter W Designs was established in 2009 by Katy Williams. Katy was a Brazos County 4-Her that competed on the local, state and national levels with Registered Brangus cattle and many breeds of steers. Born and raised on a cattle ranch outside Bryan, Texas, Katy literally grew from the ground up and continues to focus on the livestock industry. With an interest in communications at an early age by competeing in public speaking contests, Katy continued to be involved in presentations through college.
Katy received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2005. She focused specifically on advertising and public relations while also working at the campus radio station.
After college Katy completed a marketing internship with the American Quarter Horse Association where she was able to produce news releases, assist with video editing and help prepare for the 2006 annual convention. While living in Amarillo, Texas, Katy met Ryan Williams of Perryton. They married in 2007 and immediately starting building a cattle operation of their own.
Ryan and Katy have two children, Tate - 6 and Tana - 11 months, and they can't leave out Bunk, their catahoula. They are very active in the Perryton community where Katy is a member of the Texas Professional Women's Club, Lion's Club, as well as a volunteer with many community events.
